What is TCIA Accreditation?

  • Post category:Tree Care

Embark Services is the first tree care company in Texas to become accredited through the Tree Care Company Accrediting program administered by the Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA) and built on the three fold foundation of ethics, quality and consumer confidence.  Embark Services was also a recent recipient of TCIA’s 2011 Outstanding Safety award for its commitment to worker safety in all aspects of tree care projects.

TCIA Accreditation is a third-party verification process similar in structure to other industry credentialing processes for companies, such as the ISO 9000 series certifications.  TCIA Accreditation reviews tree care industry-specific standards and also reviews client satisfaction and regulatory compliance, including safety training and compliance requirements.  TCIA works with a team of independent auditors specially trained to identify issues during on-site visits and follow-up procedures.
